It is with truly heavy hearts that we share the news that Scafidi Bros will be permanently closing on February 14 due to financial challenges outside of our control. This has been an incredibly painful decision, and one we did not make lightly.
More than two years ago, we began building Scafidi Bros with a simple but meaningful dream—to create an Italian-style deli that honored our Sicilian family and the food that brought us together around the table year after year. What started as a vision quickly became something much bigger because of all of you. You welcomed us into the Newton Highlands community with warmth, encouragement, and loyalty that we will never forget.
This deli was more than a business to us. It was personal. It was family. It was shared stories across the counter and watching familiar faces walk through the door week after week. You became part of our extended family, and that is what makes this goodbye so difficult.
While our storefront is now closed for good, we will continue to fulfill existing catering orders and accept new catering requests through February 28.
